The UU Climate Action Network, which continues as a Facebook group, came out of my efforts to make Unitarian Universalist climate efforts easier to engage with. I spent a sabbatical studying climate change, climate justice organizations, and our UU environmental justice landscape including talking to leaders from all related UU organizations and programs. After these discussions we launched a collaborative Facebook group, and I began tweeting UU climate action news. The year after this project began a group of national UU organizations including the UUA and UUSC came together to form the Commit2Respond climate justice campaign.
