GA Video Blog: UUA Addictions Ministry Team

During the 2011 General Assembly conference of the Unitarian Universalist Association I conducted a video blogging experiment in partnership with the UU World Magazine.  If you watch and share these videos, please share feedback with me.  Are these interesting, helpful, relevant? I want to know!

This is video #13 in the series.

Video description from post on UU World GA blog:

You may have heard about The Addiction Ministry Handbook published by Skinner House books, but did you know the UUA has an Addiction Ministry Team? Therissa Libby, a member of this team, explains their work and ministry and how to find related resources.

  1. Dear Peter:

Good video. I learned a lot. I am a member of an emerging congregation, the Brockport Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Brockport, NY between Rochester and Buffalo and have been thinking about starting an addictions ministry program at our church. I also happen to be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is an executive director of a substance abuse agency, so i found the video informative and interesting on a professional as well as a personal basis. Thanks for the video.
